Sole Practitioner Opportunities with Accounting & General
Accounting & General is growing.
If you are a qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant, holding or able to hold a practicing certificate, and looking to set up or grow as a sole practitioner in either north Devon, Exeter, Plymouth, Cornwall, Somerset or Dorset, we are keen to talk with you.
This is not an opportunity for the faint hearted or the financially insecure. This is simply about giving you a helping hand to start or envigorate your own accountancy practice, in association with Accounting & General - mutually supporting each of us. You must have a solid business plan.
We provide marketing expertise and support and our specialist knowledge of the leisure industry in the south west. We share with you our experience in setting up Accounting & General, to help you avoid the pitfalls and go towards the opportunities. We give you longevity and depth when approaching prospective clients.
You contribute your experience of probably several years already in practice, working for others. You may particularly but not essentially enjoy tax aspects. You may be unsure of selling and marketing yourself and running your own business.
We mutually support each other where the client requires an approach that we cannot give alone. We cover each other’s practice continuity requirement, and hand across work that may be time-bound to complete. It is possible that the occasional batch of work may come your way as we approach bottlenecks in our core development.
You do not need working expertise in the leisure industry – we provide that. But you must enjoy the prospect of working primarily (although not exclusively) and promotionally in that industry. It is our marketing USP.
This is not a restrictive franchise, that initial support is tempting, the long-term tie foreboding. We do not envisage punitive clauses or contracts. This is about qualified accountants joining together to provide synergy and support to each other - no catch!
